When I was younger, my dad owned a couple of his own airplanes: a Beechcraft Bonanza A36 and a Beechcraft Duke B60. At the time, I was living in Lake Tahoe, NV and we’d always fly to fun places along the California coast. I caught the “flying bug” at a pretty young age. One of my fondest memories as a child was when my dad let me put the landing gear lever up and down. Eventually I wanted to do more than just put a landing gear lever up and down, so I pursued my dream of becoming a pilot. Now that I am an instructor, it is a great feeling to be able to share my lifelong passion with others.
