Over the past year I have done my private and instrument training in a Cirrus at SEFS. I was so pleased with my private pilot training I did not even consider going somewhere else for my Instrument training. Carl May, Chief Pilot was my primary instructor and Peyton Lindbloom was my instructor when Carl had a conflict. Both of them were excellent instructors and made the journey fun and rewarding. When Carl signed me off for my check ride and written test I knew I was prepared and ready for the challenge. I am retired and always wanted to fly but didn't have the time. Both of my instructors were patient and took the time needed to fully prepare me for the PPL and Instrument rating. Young or old I would recommend that you talk to Carl if you are considering embarking on your aviation goals. I don't think you will go wrong. Thank you to Guy the owner and all his great staff. -John
Scottsdale Executive Flight Training is indeed the best school out there. I got my private pilot license from there. They are very flexible in scheduling the flights. My CFI Peyton Lindloom was very helpful in providing me tips and guidance towards my checkride. They have great connections with really good DPE's, who are very fair. I genuinely and strongly recommend the school especially for part 61 training, checkride prep, and accelerated goals.
I contacted the Scottsdale Executive Flight Training team from Australia with the request to do a very intense period of flight training in Scottsdale. The team was great - despite the challenges to get lots of hours scheduled in a short time, they made it happen! Thanks to Payton and especially Tony - you were professional, very engaged; thanks for all your good tips and you even came in on weekend days you were supposed to be off! We got it all done - check ride passed! Thanks so much guys! I will be back for more - there is always another rating to get...
I've been training here for the last couple years and I won't go anywhere else. The instructors are top notch and the aircraft are clean and well maintained. Large selection of aircraft to rent too. I don't plan on doing any general aviation flight training anywhere else unless it's at SEFT.
I trained at SEFT for my PPL. Although I did most of my training with Tanner Allen, whom was amazing, I also had the opportunity to fly with all of the other instructors at SEFT. All of the instructors are very professional, knowledgeable, and great to fly with. The instructors will work with your schedule and make sure you get all the flights you want. With a plethora of excellently maintained planes, a great maintenance crew, and amazing instructors, I don't believe there is a better place to train or rent an aircraft in the Phoenix area.
